This #scichallenge2017 experiment shows the rapid decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Yeast is added to added to make the hydrogen peroxide decompose at a quicker rate. As a small amount of hydrogen peroxide generates a large volume of oxygen, the oxygen quickly pushed out of the bottle. The soapy water traps the oxygen, creating bubbles and turns into foam.
