About Engino.net LTD

ENGINO is perhaps the only construction system that originated directly from Education. ENGINO® TOY SYSTEM was invented by Costas Sisamos, a former teacher and engineer, for the purpose of helping pupils build technological models creatively and easily so that they can experiment and learn about science and technology in a playful way.
This toy system evolved to an award winning advanced product which covers various curriculum subjects such as Structures, Mechanisms, Renewable energy, Newton's Laws and Robotics Control.
The ENGINO TOY SYSTEM was launched early 2007 after 3 years of EU co-funded R&D and is now exported to more than 20 countries, growing rapidly to one of the leading construction toy brands
In 2012 the company invested in a new fully automated factory in Cyprus, EU, where plastic injection and packaging takes place under strict quality control and ISO 9001 certification. While offering European quality at its best, ENGINO keeps innovating with more new products every year, placing special emphasis on STEM Education for Primary and Secondary schools. Working alongside renowned Academics, experts in the Engineering and Pedagogical fields, ENGINO has created a library of intergraded solutions for teaching Science and Technology in both home and schools.

Main Activity Area: Engineering of innovative construction toys.
Research Area: The major advantage of ENGINO system is that it enables children to build fast and easy simple or complex models using a very small number of different components. ENGINO TOY SYSTEM is perhaps the most advanced and versatile three dimensional construction toy in the market today, offering unique opportunities for creation for both children and adults alike.
The patented geometry of the ENGINO components allows connectivity to all directions of the 3D space with a simple snap-fit method, making it very easy even for younger students to build complex models.
The toy comprises of a system of multi-faceted rods and connectors that share some unique geometrical features that allow connectivity up to 6 sides simultaneously! In essence, this patent-pending design transforms rods into connectors, leading to builds that may be either dense or with large openings. This feature alone enables children to build fast and easy, simple or complex models, using a very low number of different components and a much lower quantity of parts.
Achievements: The product received international awards such as the 10 BEST by Dr. Toy in the US, the CYPRUS INNOVATION AWARD and the “Best Practice Enterprise” award by European Commission.
Staff Qualifications: Qualification of research staff at ENGINO ranges from PhD Researchers to MSc Engineers and IT Developers.
