About The Cyprus Organisation for Sustainable Education & Active Learning - SEAL CYPRUS

SEAL CYPRUS is an NGO located in Nicosia. We support competence development of individuals by offering customised education, training and career resource solutions. We assist capacity building of organisations by offering training in leadership, project management and dissemination strategies. SEAL CYPRUS achieves excellence by:
– Developing and delivering state-of-the-art training and coaching.
– Building strategic partnerships to address learning needs of individuals and organisations.
– Implementing international projects granted by European Programmes.
– Attracting, developing and retaining dedicated and skilled trainers & adult educators.

Main Activity Area: SEAL CYPRUS aims in the promotion of dialogue and cooperation in the fields of education, vocational training, training, youth, life-long learning, global education, career guidance, environment, sustainable development, culture, sports, employment, entrepreneurship and social affairs. It also encourages Cypriots to participate in a variety of national, European and International projects, and to disseminate the learning they gain at local and European level.
Research Area: SEAL CYPRUS provides training courses in fields such as Employment and Entrepreneurship in Cyprus and we host international training courses with the support of the European Programme "Erasmus+ / Youth".
Achievements: As leading partners, SEAL CYPRUS has hosted a series of international projects in Cyprus with the participation of partner organisations from Europe and neighbouring countries. SEAL CYPRUS has also organized campaigns and initiatives such as People4Soil (a European Citizens Initiative), as well as local seminars and events. SEAL CYPRUS has conducted in 2015 the research “Youth Trainers in Cyprus” which was presented in the 2nd Commonwealth Conference on Youth Work 2016 in Pretoria, South Africa.
Staff Qualifications: Qualification of research staff at SEAL includes PhD Researchers, MSc and BSC holders in Education and any other related area, as well as entrepreneurs.
