About ANDRITZ AG
In 1852 an iron foundry was founded in Andritz, a suburb of the city of Graz, laying the cornerstone for the establishment of today’s ANDRITZ GROUP. Starting out with pumps, water turbines, cranes, steam boilers and mining equipment the company grew over the decades and diversified its production. Through the acquisition and integration of several companies since the 1990s combined with strong organic growth today’s international technology group was formed. The publicly listed technology Group is headquartered in Graz, Austria, and has a staff of approximately 25,500 employees. ANDRITZ operates over 250 sites worldwide.

You can also find ANDRITZ HYDRO in the Guinness Book of Records for a pressure pipe and pipe branch which is the same height as a 4-storey house (with an interior diameter of 13.2 m and a height of over 16 m in the central area) - used at Tarbela Dam in Pakistan.

Staff Qualifications: To work at ANDRITZ in the field of research and development you need a degree from a technical college or university in mechanical or electrical engineering, plant construction or mechatronic.
