Project Overview

Napjainkban egyre nagyobb problémát okoz a szemetelés, már az űrben is. Persze ez nem szándékos szemetelés, hanem a már elhasználódott űreszközök maradéka. Ezekből egyre több van, hiszen 1957 óta több tízezer műhold, rakéta maradék, akár űrhajó is kering a Föld körül. A bolygónk körül keringő űrszemét nagy veszélyt jelent kilövéskor, valamint visszatéréskor az űrhajósok számára, illetve a légkörbe belépő, de az ott el nem égő akár számunkra is. Videómban erre a problémára próbálom felhívni a figyelmet, és egy lehetséges megoldást javasolni. A munkában látható animációk kedvenc játékommal, a Kerbal Space Program-mal készültek, OBS-sel vettem fel és Sony Vegas-ban vágtam őket össze.

Nowadays, littering is a bigger and bigger problem, even in space. Of course, this isn't a willful littering, it's just the dead spaceinstrument's left pieces. TThere are more and more of them, as since 1957 there has been ten thousands of rocket derbises, satellites, or even spaceships in space, orbiting Earth. These derbises can cause a big trouble for astronauts during launch and reentry, and, if these can survive reentering the Earth's atmosphere, for earthlings. In my video, I am trying to arouse awareness of this problem and suggest a posssible solution. The animations seen in my work are made with my fauvorite game, Kerbal Space Program, recorded with Open Boardcaster Software (OBS), and cut in Sony Vegas.
