Computer Based Thermal Conductivity Coefficent Measurement Device

The way of achieving energy efficiency on the earth and reducing energy loss to the minimum can be achieved. Research on thermal insulation systems was carried out within the scope of the project. When the devices on the market were examined, it was seen that they were not economical. If the necessary heat can not be obtained in the scientific works that can be done, deviations in experimental results may be experienced. In the project, a device which is able to measure the heat transfer coefficient and which is much more economical than the computer aided and market devices has been designed and successful results have been obtained. Measurements are made with reference to different sources and the device gives correct results. The results can be converted into the desired digital media file, as well as visual and graphical results can be obtained from the data. The data can be transferred to the desired thesis and report work.

When examined in general, it is observed that the scientific studies that can be carried out on these subjects may increase with the introduction of new materials which can provide heat insulation with the exit of the device to the market. This is a preliminary step that new and economical new insulation materials can be introduced to the market.
