Fresh water is one of the 9 limited resources on our planet; and a shortage of this important resource, has the potential to danger humanity.
Around 90 percent of freshwater around the world, is consumed by agricultural products. therefore, there is great need for new technologies, that will provide more controlled irrigation systems, for saving water.

We have developed Hydrop, the first autonomous drip irrigation system, that is self -sustained by hydroelectric power. Before the water drips onto the ground, it initially spins a nano torbain, that charges hydrop with electricity, in each irrigation event. This unique electricity production capability, allows each hydrop unit to continuously function as a ground humidity sensor, or electric water faucet, which wirelessly communicates to provide an extremely precise and controlled irrigation system.
