Sedoheptulose, ein Zwischenprodukt des Pentosephosphatweges, wurde aus der Pflanze Sedum Maximum extrahiert, gereinigt und untersucht. Seit kurzem erst ist Sedoheptulose am Markt in geringer Reinheit und zu einem hohen Preis verfügbar und limitiert daher Forschung am Pentosesphosphatweg. Das Ergebnis dieser vorwissenschaftlichen Arbeit ist sowohl eine Fraktion sehr reiner Sedoheptulose als auch eine Arbeitsvorschrift.

Sedoheptulose, an intermediate of the pentose phosphate pathway, was extracted out of the plant Sedum Maximum, purified and analysed. As of recently sedoheptulose is available on the market in poor purity at high expenses and thus limits research on the pentose phosphate pathway. The result of this pre-academic paper is a fraction of very pure Sedoheptulose as well as work instruction.
